ABOUT ME
I first fell in love with editing in high school when I took a class that taught us to produce news segments. I thought editing would be the “boring” part, but I quickly realized the power of editing.
After graduating from the University of Southern California, I spent most of my 20s editing primarily short format projects: web series, comedy shorts, indie projects. I finally had the opportunity to cut a feature in 2009, which gave me the days I needed to join the union. Since then, while I have edited a few projects, including a couple episodes for the television series What We Do in the Shadows, I have mostly worked as an assistant editor on projects such as Maze Runner: Death Cure and Twin Peaks: The Return. In the last couple years, I’ve segued into VFX editing on The Fall Guy and Wicked.
Additionally, in more recent years, I’ve come to enjoy VoiceOver work, and have taken classes to hone the skill. Check out my demo!
But my true love is still picture editing, and I’m actively seeking opportunities to transition more fully into that role.
