As professionals working in film and television editorial, we are often called upon to record temporary voiceover and ADR until we can get the real actors into the recording studio. I used to hate this with a passion. But over the years, the hate began to melt away, and I even found myself, dare I say it, enjoying the process. And apparently I’m not half bad. On a few occasions, my voice has even made it into the final mix. So a few years ago, I decided to explore this area, take a few classes, hone the skill. And here are the fruits of my labor…
